Four Winds

I created this piece for the Houston Festival. I designed this with a yacht designer – and the piece garnered coverage the front page of the Houston Chronicle and the Houston Post on the same day – an unheard of recognition. This began with the idea of using junk sails to create wings, to create movement, and then it started generating its own power – this was the first of my self-powered sculptures.
